Adele - Hello

The music video starts off with a clip of a window frame, with dead flies and cockroaches on the window ledge. The image is very unsaturated and looks like a clip taken from an old film. The camera stays in the same place but the focus is shifted onto the exterior, where a car is seen moving down a dirt road towards the house from a distance. We later find out that this is the singer of this song, Adele, and she is revisiting her old house which she hasn’t been to in a while from what the state of it looks like. There is no music as Adele enters the house, but we hear some dialogue of her talking to someone over the phone, saying she is losing signal, and then the call disconnects. This creates a sense of being separated from civilisation for the viewers watching the video, as Adele loses connection with whoever she was on the phone with. This shows us that Adele is visiting this house purely to reminisce on the past and to feel a sense of nostalgia, and sh...

Target audience 30-49 The demographic my music video is directed at would be people aged 30 to 49. This can include genres such as pop, country and sometimes classical, so it has a relatively wide variety compared to a demographic of current teenagers, who rarely listen to country or classical music, as their musical focus is mainly consumed by rap or pop music. The category of 30-49 is a very broad category as it could span from the 2000s to the 70s and 80s which can be highly contrasted.  The graph below is statistical data from statistia.com The table below shows the different artists associated with the target demographic of 30-49 My target audience includes artists such as Mumford and Sons, The Lumineers, Arctic Monkeys, John Legend, Pink Floyd, Jack Savoretti, Billy Joel, David Bowie, Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, ABBA, Elton John, U2 and Bon Jovi. Parlophone Records Limited (also known as Parlophone Records and Parlophone) is a German-British major record label founded in Germany in 1896 by the Carl Lindström Company as Parlophon. The British branch of the company was founded in 8 August 1923 as The Parlophone Co. Ltd., which developed a reputation in the 1920s as a leading jazz record label.
